Privacy Mode
Turn on Privacy Mode to run Cortex Agent on local models through Elido Local Engine. Cloud models stay out of the picker while it is on. Pair it with Local Semantic Index so indexing and search stay on-device too.
Sign-in & gateway
You sign in to Elido. Outside Privacy Mode, chat and agent traffic go through the Elido gateway with your session.
Tool approvals
By default, Cortex Agent asks before running sensitive tools. Global auto-approve disables those protections and is not recommended.
Content exclusions
Keep secrets and sensitive paths out of agent context. Prefer local ignore rules and careful attachment of folders.
